Funny, I actually sold my Epic 8 about 4 months ago. It was the first to go. Just never rode it. I’ve tried a few times to get into mountain bikes and just never could. I’d ride it for a while when it was new, then it would just sit in my garage.
I do the same. Once a year, normally around this time of year, sometimes in spring, I’ll have a cycling purge.
What I don’t need or have no plan on using gets stripped down, cleaned, and stuck on Ebay, or discarded as for old clothes or really tatty kit. The proceeds of which can get ploughed back in to new cycling equipment.
Benefit of this time of year is getting on the Black Friday bandwagon.
Sometimes I’ll hang onto good stuff and Ebay it in the New Year to get the Christmas money people.
