With the current issues with the TrainNow feature, @Nate_Pearson suggested using the mobile web version of Trainer Road to select a recommended workout. When tapping on “Open in App”, the app opens and a “Loading Working” spinner is shown, but after several minutes the workout never loads. I have to force-quit the app in order to use it again. What I have to do now is use TrainNow on the mobile web, get the name of the workout, open TR on iOS, search of the workout by name and hope that I can find it.
As a software developer myself, I sympathize with you having these types of bugs to deal with over the holidays.
