I’ve done a search here but not much info. Anyone ridden this? From the images I’ve seen, looks like a beautiful area but the long distance has a lot of elevation gain.
I did the 70 mile course last year. It was pretty straightforward and punchy. The town was pretty chill. There were quite a few gravel curious roadies at the 70 mile distance so the pointy end of the race was quite competitive and fast. I would go back but the vibe may be quite different as it isn’t one of the LTGP races this year.
I raced full pull and got my Unbound coin there - it’s an awesome course and I’m strongly considering going back again this year. Trinidad was a cool town and the race had a good mix of different terrains that I think anyone could have fun on it.
Curious if either of you know…do most people fly in to Denver and then drive down? I live too far away to take time off from work and drive
yup, flying into denver is probably the best way to go
I did the 70 mile last year and had an awesome time. Good course, good vibe, etc. I would do it again this year but it doesn’t fit in my schedule unfortunately. Curious how it changes this year.
