PSA: Don't forget to bring your _____

Love it.

I have a bee allergy and forget my epipen nearly every ride.

I’m new to disc brakes and am going to pick up a 2nd wheel set shortly. I was surprised how much rotors are so figured I’d just swap my existing set over when switching wheels. Then I read this thread and thought about approaching my first stop sign on my new wheels which looked just the clinchers I’ve been putting on for decades …

Santa brought one of those bags (the big one) last Christmas. Cannot say enough good things about it!

Not forgotten but a mix-up…

If you store “ice socks” in a zipper bag in the same freezer bin that you also keep the zipper bag of frozen mozzarella sticks, just know that you should probably buy stockings that are NOT the same color as those mozzarella sticks :woman_facepalming:t3:

I’ve done this (the riding one-way to a destination and forgetting a change of clothes) and I ended up with a brand-new outfit and pair of shoes as part of the misadventure.

  1. AXS battery. Left it on the charger on the workbench. Not a big trip or anything, but could not ride during the golden hour between kid dropoff and pickup.

  2. Pre-peeled double sided tape for CX race. Was going to double up, but basically missed the first race because I could not peel off the backing of the double sided tape in the dark in a parking garage with old eyes. Now I pre-peel a corner of the backing of pre-cut double-sided tape.

OT: Used an OBD code reader to code my car to customize the locking of the doors…leaped out of the idling car in P to hand off something to my kid who was going to rehearsal. Door swung closed and with the new settings, the car automatically locked the doors, locking me out . . . worst part was walking into the lobby of my kid’s ballet studio all kitted up for a race, to borrow their phone and to wait in the lobby for the tow truck guy with the tool to open the door. Lots of disapproving stares from moms and daughters, I suppose.

From this Saturday’s race.

A fellow racer left their Bibs at home. Luckily another racer had came with their RV and was willing to loan him a pair of bibs!

I know a guy who got crabs from doing that…I’d rather miss the race than share a chamois with someone.:scream::scream::scream:
