Thought I would update this for any others in a similar position.
I have the ZB over two months now and I am pretty damn happy with the decission. The ease of set up and adjustability are exactly what I wanted. I have tentatively been playing around with my fit using it, however I am still trying to learn more before going wild.
In terms of qualtiy, I see no issue so far, and its a pretty solid piece of kit.
I went for the bundle with the Kickr Core, and TBH if I was to do it all over, I would actually only go for the ZB on its own, and not the bundle. I had a Tacx Flux S, that technically isn’t compatible with Zwift and virtual shifting. So this is why I initally went for the bundle.
However, as it transpires, I haven’t bothered signing up to Zwift and I am just using TR (sometimes starting at the TR page, sometimes Podcasts / music etc for entertainment).
I have only used erg mode and have so far not found a need for virtual shifting. Furthermore, I prefer the feel of the Flux S over the Kickr Core.
Now, does that make the overall package “bad”, or “worse”. Nah, just trying to give some more insight for those who may be in a similar situation. Hindsight and all that.
There are 3rd party apps that make the Zwift virtual shifting possible with not compatible devices if you do think you will be going with Zwift.
On top of all this I am not rulling out gettin a Zwift sub in the future.
Anyways, my thoughts on it, hopefully it helps. Post a Q or DM me if you would like more info.
