Yeah, The Woodlands was fantastic the last time I rode up there. It might still be, it’s just been a long time. Side note: I knew a guy who got hit by a deer while riding in a paceline in The Woodlands. He was JRA and the deer jumped out of the woods. Broke his jaw, lost teeth. It was brutal.
If you’re up for a drive, there’s some beautiful rolling terrain in New Waverly/Sam Houston Nation Forest.
In Woodlands area, there is a paved bike trail from 99 Grand parkway(South of Woodlands) and I45 go through several parks head East toward 69. Round trip is around 30 miles I think.
