(mentally) dealing with back pain

Awesome, congrats on your recovery! I ended up seeing a therapist at the Pain Psychology Center in LA and she was a huge help. After 4 years I’m mostly back to training full speed but I still have to be careful to avoid doing intervals much above threshold too many times in a week.

I have heard good things about the Pain Psychology Center! So happy to hear you are back to training :). Have you checked out the Mind and Fitness podcast by Eddy Lindenstein? He’s a strength athlete and has a great approach to pushing past tms symptoms.
