Hi, I am a new member to this forum and I was wondering if I could get some help on a pacing strategy for a race that I have coming up in the near future. This race is a 50 mile marathon mountain bike race that I think I will be able to complete in about 4 hours, with about 3 of these hours on climbs. This 3 hours of climbing is split up between 10 different climbs, and I was wondering how I could properly pace this? None of these climbs push me above threshold, about 300 watts with a W/Kg of 4.3, so I was wondering if I could pace all of these at sweet spot (88%-94% of FTP), does this make sense or is this to ambitious of a goal and high tempo would be a better goal?
