I think you press X to start…
I’m impressed with the 4 fans up front!
Usually just endurance, sweet spot works too but my gaming abilities get worse during intervals
Spent ages redoing my garage into a “Paincave”
Has changed a bit now as it also has a treadmill and squat rack.
Also a few more bikes dotted around ![]()
Mind sharing what tv mount(s) you’re using for that setup?
The lower stand is this one, I upgraded from a cheaper fixed stand and this one is way better
BIGalleons Mobile TV Mount Stand,… Amazon.com
This is the mount for the sound bar
VIVO Universal Sound Bar Steel… Amazon.com
This is the upper tv mount, before it was on the wall but I made the setup mobile to move to another area
VIVO Mobile TV Cart for 32 to 65… Amazon.com
I would use a single tv stand for the upper one if I did it again
I’m surprised you don’t have mic issues with four fans going and just the general sound of the trainer. Kudos to your teammates for not hating you breathing into the mic either
I had issues with one mic but upgraded to this one and it has noise cancelation that works well, I also only do endurance ride when using the mic.
The last time I used it I forgot to mute the tv so the TR beeps were heard but no other complaints
What mic is that?
FIFINE XLR/USB Dynamic Microphone… Amazon.com: FIFINE XLR/USB Dynamic Microphone for Podcast Recording, PC Computer Gaming Streaming Mic with RGB Light, Mute Button, Headphones Jack, Desktop Stand, Vocal Mic for Singing YouTube-AmpliGame AM8
I found I could do some Pokemon during workouts on my switch. Just use the joy cons and it doesn’t matter if you drop it for a couple of minutes during an interval
Not a “pain cave” per se, but the basement “bike cave” at my vacation rental house. Wash rack outside, entry room for drying bikes/shoes/storing cleaning equipment; main “cave” with clothesline, work bench, tools, medical kit, bike stands, coffee station and beer fridge. Still looking for a beat up couch for ambiance, will assemble a wheel on trainer next trip there.
Sooo where should we travel to stay here?
AeroBnb ?
It’s in the southwest corner of Virginia, not too far from Va Tech University, very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. About 300 miles of gravel in the county. www.velowaychalet.com (although “AeroBnb” does have a nice ring to it
)
That’s very good.
Looks like a great location and nice rental option too.
It’s a beautiful area to ride in (and can be very challenging). Two gravel races (Tour de Dirt in the fall and Appalachian Journey in the spring), cool little town nearby (Floyd) with a music scene and lots of artisans.
