Most tv mounts fit 16 oc and 24 oc studs, so no need for blocking (unless I misunderstood what you plan to do).
Do you know what the model for that is?
Modern studs have that standard distance between them. My house is just over 100 years old (ancient, ancient by California standard), so the spacing between studs isn’t 100% consistent.
I have this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T9839ZL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It’s pricey but worth it. Super solid, many degrees of freedom. I have a heavy 65" TV + soundbar on it and it works great for moving around.
Also picked up one of these to hide my Apple TV: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017K17PQ8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks. Especially for the Apple TV wall mount. I hadn’t thought about what I will do with the Mac mini, but I was able to find something similar to your Apple TV mount.
Holy smokes. I wouldn’t spend anywhere near that much on a mount. This one for <10% of the cost will get you almost the same features.
Same! I have 65” top of the line gaming tv on a $50 Amazon mount.
Get wiring and timber for fixings in the locations you would/could mount a TV.
Much easier to do before the gib is on.
(Whoops, not the latest post…)
It doesn’t look fancy, but upgraded my setup with a iiyama 27 inch curved monitor, with a apple tv 4k 2022, and it works great !
Monitor nearby right on the desk gives a great experience, and the apple tv is so easy, especially with the new remote.
Combining Zwift (apple tv) and TR (iphone/ipad) also works great.
I am a happy user ![]()
Looks great to me. Well done. ![]()

yep, you are right. Not the right direction ![]()

Looks more fancy than mine ![]()
Dank, messy basement, but it works. I’m about three feet away from a 65" TV, perfect for getting dizzy watching roller coaster videos.
Are you jumping on the trainer, with all those kettlebells around ?
Yep, doesn’t stand in the way. Pedals are free.
I don’t want to place the KB’s on the wooden floor ![]()
Close fit, but suits me well ![]()
Ha ha!
Struggling to find further criticism, great set up.
