Yup, check the floor. Even if flat, and you feel a lean, the “easy” fix is to shim up the low side. Use cardboard, wood or plastic under the feet on the low side.

I found 2.75 turns after the wheel first makes contact to be the spot for me.

I was originally against getting a trainer tire but grabbed one off amazon this year and it made a noticeable improvement in the grippiness on the drum. I run it at 100 psi and about 3.5-4ish full turns of the tension knob on my KK road machine.

I got issues with the ramp test, but I don’t blame them on tire slippage… I’ve never heard, yeah, I can hear slip, on any long effort, but I can hear slip on hard accelerations. Maybe that’s because I have a trainer specific tire (9 years old?) or because I have the standard (Joe Schmoe) flywheel.

I find the op’s situation odd. I have two KK trainers. I’ve used the big flywheel in the past, but I’m not using it currently.
Before EVERY ride I set tire pressure to 110psi (conti trainer tire) set the trainer tension to 2-1/2 turns after tire contact. My normal workout wattages are 340-400 and I have no slippage unless it’s fireworks style vo2 stuff. Even then the slippage is minimal.
As @mcneese.chad said rub it down with alcohol (I only do that once/month at most) make sure trainer is level and stable. If that doesn’t work I’d look into another tire.
