Increasing wheel width--what is best for pure road cycling?

There’s nothing “pure” about the roads here in metro Detroit. 32 mm tires are your friend here.

Interesting… I wonder how much you weight, I do believe most of the advantages are tangibly experienced by the heavier guys. In any case since you dislike them so much you should sell them for real cheap. I’ll definitely help you get rid of them. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I think that a 28 or even 32mm with a true hookless rim could get the profile of a tubular when it comes to aero. With hooked rims tubeless is still stuck with the lightbulb shape, which isn’t very aero.
