I’m not your doctor, but if the cause of your heavy periods are uterine fibroids (extremely common cause of heavy periods, aka menorrhagia, which can lead to iron def anemia ), there is a highly effective nonsurgical procedure that can fix the problem called uterine fibroid embolization. I have treated many women who have been anemic and they have felt so much more energetic afterward once the anemia resolved.
