I’m new to Trainer Road and for my first trainings I searched for a way to connect TR to an ICG spinning bike in my gym, since I don’t own an home/smart trainer. There were some topics, but all mentioning it doesn’t work. So I thought I share what I did to make it work …
Before you start your training make sure to start a power training session on the ICG bike till you see the training screen.
After you did that, Bluetooth will be enabled on the bike and power data will be transmitted. For heart rate I connected my Garmin HRM Pro+ directly to the TR app … After that I was able to “enjoy” my first ride / FTP test.
