How do you trick your mind to ignore the pain

The only thing that helps me get through those is to stop trying to mentally fight it and try to relax the limbs that aren’t being used as much as possible.

I use mindfulness, similar to meditation. Notice where the sensations are coming from, how I can alter them or reduce them by changing pedal stroke, what’s happening with the music, what thoughts are popping into my head.

Works really well but takes practice off the bike first.
