Yeah cable pull ratios are different with the 822 vs 812/810. Back to the 812 with goatlink or swapping cages with an xt one. I would be going full sram 1x but I don’t see myself having this bike for another year.

No, Shimano did not add yet another cable pull ratio. Plenty of people are running 820s with 11, just like people mix and match 10/11/12 speed MTB parts.
