I have a friend who has low potassium heart problems (as opposed to a sodium problem). Just saying that salting the meal might not be the cure all. Also, I’m not sure the duration of your ride is long enough to come down with electrolyte issues.
I’d keep an eye on it and get it checked out by a cardiologist that knows athletes.
I used to have the missed beat sensation. Premature Ventricular Contraction (PVC), your heart doesn’t really miss a beat, the upper chamber just fires again before it is full of blood from the lower so pushes less blood. After consulting with a cardio doc, wore a holter monitor to make sure that was the true issue. I cut back on alcohol and caffeine and haven’t had them since.
