I’m surprised by this? The flash sales seemed to have died down and more stock and new lines have been added recently
Im gutted - I love DHB and can’t get them in Ireland anymore either
Yeah I liked a lot of their Kit. And now it seems that I won’t get it anymore in Switzerland.
two of us.
Lots of good stuff with decent prices. I regret I didn’t buy an Aero handlebar.
Hello, W & CRC:
I like DHB products, they are a really good cost/return for me. They ship ok (to Canada), no tax involved, all good. I hope they will be back.
Expect the brands to live on but the quality to drop.
I think it’s going to be more like “Hello Wiggle’s and CRC long lost distant cousin”
Yeah, not making claims one way or the other. Just being a bit cheeky with the post in parallel to the original thread title
Yep, Mike Ashley will pretty much kill any quality
But on the upside, the holding page for Wiggle now shows the old logo !
Wiggle has gone live again today, but it’s the Evans inventory only as far as I can tell. Haven’t looked in too much depth but there’s nothing from any of the former in-house brands, and several of the Evans-own brands are now in the mix. Had to make a new account too, so at present it looks like they’ve literally just stuck a Wiggle skin on the online version of Evans.
Will see if any of the former brands resurface in time. And in what kind of shape…
Even if they do bring back the DHB brand I would avoid, it is unlikely they’ll be anything like the same quality. The new owner is only interested in profit driven by consumerism of the worse kind, witness the BSOs for sale on the new website
Sad,
I’ll try some NeoPro bibs this year. Heard people saying good things and the price is ok.
I just did a search for Sram XPLR, and got zero results, doing a search for saddle came back with nearly nothing, actually made me think that I had miss spelt saddle !!!
DHB comes back with some results, but it looks like just the left over stock
Potentially incredible moment for Sigma Sports with their Vel and Universal Colours brands. Do they already have a decent international presence or are they still mostly UK only?
Are there others poised to jump into that “enthusiast value brand” space?
I enjoy mine for short things, but they really don’t do well at longer durations. As such I’ve been using them as my crit bibs just in case I go down and don’t want to risk my $200 pants
