Instructions:
I got the new doors and installed them - they look fantastic and seem to truly be the fix. I also switched to 1/3n batteries and stopped oiling/lubing the system. While talking to some of the fine Garmin folks all the testing they have done shows the 1/3n batteries are not swelling like 2 individual and the thickness of the batteries is more consistent with them.

Hi folks, so I have had my Vector 3 pedals for some time now without issues. I now seem to be experiencing similar issues to what everyone else was getting with the battery cover. I have checked both my inbox and spam and canāt find the mail Garmin sent out earlier last year with my discount code. I live in Ireland, could someone please share with me the code Garmin sent as I canāt stomach paying the price for the replacement. Thanks in advance
The email states that the code is a āpersonal discount codeā and only one set of battery doors per set of pedals will be issued.
That said, try mine GRMN-FIT-EDY-LW40 if you wish.
Worst case Iām confident that if you contact Garmin customer services they will send you a new code or if that is not possible replace both pedals free of charge. Thats been my experience anyway. Iām on my 3rd set of pedals and also replaced the battery covers twice all under Garmin warranty. Their products might not be perfect but Iāve got no complaints about their customer support.
