Garmin FR35 Activity Profiles

Hi

I have a Forerunner 35 watch and it has five activity profiles as you all know.

I went digging around after connecting my watch to my PC and found a folder called GARMIN\SPORTS with the following files in it.

0RRUN.FIT
1RRUN.FIT
2CBIKE.FIT
4CARDIO.FIT
6WALKING.FIT

These look a lot like the activity profiles on my watch so I am wondering if you can add some more by dumping files in this folder. Does anybody know?

The .fit files are activity outputs. This is the Garmin-defined standard for activity data, including time, position, speed, HR, etc.

The list of activities supported by Garmin products is not set by the presence of .fit files in a folder, it’s hard-coded as far as I know.
