Feature Request - Show Target Power & Duration of Next Interval

On the mobil app you can see the power and duration of the last, current, and next 2 upcoming intervals by swiping left on the bottom half of the screen (where the graph of the entire workout is)

Hi,

Any chance you add a feature, whereby as you get say 10 seconds before a segment, it tells you what Power you’ll be expected to do and the length of that segment?
This would be really handy and help to get the most out of the sessions.

Cheers

I don’t use the desktop app but on the iPad version you can swipe left at any time and it will show you the requirements for the next four segments (includes recovery segments).

Thanks, thats really helpful. I didn’t know that was a feature.

hmm, anyone know if this is a desktop feature and how to use it?

Just for completeness here, that works on Android too

I merged a couple of related topics to one that dates way back.

AFAIK, the mobile app is the only one showing the upcoming interval data, other than the options to see the graph data on Win/Mac.

Just wanted to second the desire to have next interval info in the desktop app. I was thinking of starting a similar topic  It would be very useful.

Is there any news on this (now five years old) topic? I recently switched to TR and was surprised that, on the desktop app, there is no way to see the precise level of the upcoming efforts (power and length). Especially since the ‘hover and scrub’ function works so great on the workout graph; unfortunately hovering the graph of an active session gives no information whatsoever. Even my Wahoo head unit notifies me 10 seconds in advance.

As others, during a hard session I have other things to do than fiddling around with my phone or opening the website to fetch the workout page and read the description or scrub the graph. And even in ERG mode I’d like to anticipate (i. e., mentally preparing for) what exactly is coming up.

I mean, there is a lot of space on a usual desktop screen, so repositioning some numbers in the UI and adding an option to turn them on or off shouldn’t be that difficult, or is it? Or carry the ‘hover’ information from the workout graph to the on of an active session. Both would be a great addition.

Thanks to anyone who replies.

On an iPad or phone if you swipe to the left during a workout you get the next few intervals, see below. I’m not sure how the desktop app works but I assume it’s similar.

No, unfortunately not. As I and others have described, the desktop app lacks any of this functionality (given that I’m not completely stupid or blind). And this is exactly what this threat is about: getting those information in some way or another into the desktop app.

i always study the workout before hand so i know what’s involved and I’m not sure why anybody wouldn’t do that but horses for courses. The last thing that is needed is more information on the screen that isn’t necessary.
