Fox MTB pants FTW - Defend Fire Lunar Pants. freaking awesome and perfect for my needs. they have insulation down to the knees (I wear pretty tight knee high socks when it’s super cold so that’s a great fit for me - this is what drove me to want pants…putting on long tights was just a pita over these socks). Anyway they have a built in buckle - no need for a belt, cool / fun star patten on the knees, nice taper at the ankles with zipper, little bit of water resistance, fairly light, nice room in the trunk for bib shorts. hard to explain but they sound great…it’s not an annoying swish sound like rain pants.
I’m keeping the OrNot for casual / work wear. very well made. I currently wear lululemon…these look just a bit different…I dunno. I like them. 4 way stretch is legit. they’ll go great in my rotation. love that they are USA made.
I can see myself using the OrNots if it’s a little chilly out and I’m going somewhere where I’ll get off the bike and walk around in public or something. or if I rode my bike to disc golf or hike…that’d be perfect.
