Another bike choice topic

So as to not hijack other peoples threads.

I want to get rid of 2 bikes (a specific CX bike and a gravel/winter bike) and get 1 that kind of does both.
Priority wise it will be a winter road bike, then a bike for 4-5 local CX races on and then finally the odd gravel ride/race/sportive.

Ill have 2 wheelsets for it

I’d like it to be 1x, and have decent tire clearance (45mm).
Mudguard mounts arent too necessary as i usually use clip ons anyway.

Currently looking at the Crux, Revolt, Topstone or a ribble CGR AL.

Budget is £2k.

Crux sounds like a perfect fit if it fits your budget

Yeah, for that price, a Aluminum Crux is your best bet. Build spec wont be great for the money. But, you can slowly upgrade that over time. The frame is probably the best in the 2k range for a do it all gravel and CX bike.
Take this with a grain of salt cause I did CX 1 time and swore never to get off a perfectly good bike willingly in a race, and my crux is carbon.

Yeah sounds like it to me. Thanks!
