Am i too old to keep building?

There’s a couple of metrics that are worth considering: Minimum Effective Effort, i.e. the least work you have to do to improve; Maximum Recoverable Effort, i.e. the most work you can do AND recover from. This is typically a weekly average value.

With age the former goes up (or at least stays constant) whilst the latter comes down. Once MRE is less than MEE then you can’t improve.
