I posted this in the Gravel thread, figure here would be okay. Mainland China has some molds for aero’esk 32" gravel rims:
Jake Pantone from ENVE strongly hinted that they are working on a 32" wheel as well. Obviously they don’t want to take away from sales of their G-SES wheels but it does seem like the next 12 months are going to bring a lot of change.
Is it boost or still running road hub spacing, does anybody know?
Rather Or Not! Weather is a tad different. I thought you were going down the road of it’s the season 32s.
I think they look silly TBH but I’m sure will get used to it. My XS bikes all look a little silly with huge 29inch wheels and tiny frames. One reason manufacturers take photos of the medium frames not their XS or XL ones probably.
Looks like a 29er! How tall are you?
Sounds like a line from that Randy Newman song.
I would prefer a more horizontal top tube in the type of bike I’d be looking for. It doesn’t look bad/out of place with those 32’s, however.
Its an XL frame and im 6’3"
I don’t want to be a jerk about tire sizes, but I would like to be a jerk about the incorrect spelling of ‘weather’ in the title of this post. ![]()
i expect 32ers will be shown in large or maybe xl sizes as even medium will look a bit out of proportion, at least initially. that maybe says all that needs to be said - wheel size is logically proportional to frame/rider size but the industry probably won’t support multiple sizes so a happy medium is required, whatever size that might be
Actually “weather” is the correct spelling of weather. I believe what you mean is the incorrect spelling of “whether.”
Not in my eyes
I think that is true.
totally this ^^
Congrats, you out-pedanticated me.
(that’s definitely a word)
32" did not win Outbound. 32 is dead, long live aero ![]()
I am waiting for a 35" with full aero faring now.
Well, it won Unbound XL…
