Understand totally. What would be more appealing to me would be a one off purchase price, perhaps $7.99-9.99. Consumer devices sadly don’t tend to last or get replaced and in the case of my Withings no doubt at some point a whizz-bang holographic, MRI scanning scale will be released and I’ll want that. Also, the utility of weight sync for me is just a nice to have - i can easily tap it in every week or two when I weigh myself. If it was complex data files then it would have more utility, which for me limits the price I’m willing to pay. Hope that is helpful feedback
