Impossible. I’ve tried all sorts of chemicals and a drill-spun brush. They are impossible to keep clean. Oh well.
Can cosign this. I’ve tried all kinds of products on mine, can’t get 'em clean. But despite all the naysayers in the thread, I’ve enjoyed these shoes immensely. So comfortable. No need to ratchet down hard on the boas. Would buy again…
Maybe you should spray them down with the fabric protector first. I wonder if that would help?
I have the SW7 Vent, same material as the Ares (had the Ares before but too narrow), and I put them under warm water with some vanish powder and a brush. Looked like new after!
Good to know, ill give that a try on my white(ish) ares. They are a proper pain to keep clean haha.

I had the same issue… I was coming from SW7 shoe, wanted the Ares, LOVED them during the first 15min, then my feet started tingling and realised that they are too narrow.
Also running the G8s insoles on all my shoes.
Sold the Ares, and bought the SW Vent.
Happy feet now
