@jfranci3 We buy winter boots. Just bought these to replace some older Sidi winter boots. They are sized for the additional volume needed for a warmer sock.

Certainly more walkable than other road pedals with their modern cleats. But I still can’t wait to get my road shoes off if I have any real moving around to do. I could wear my MTB shoes all day off the bike if I had to.

Here’s my solution to all of this:

Buy assioma road pedals with road shoes.
Buy xpedo spd pedals and convert the assiomas to SPD.
Buy 3 bolt to 2 bolt adapter to turn road shoes into SPD.

Now I have a set of road and/or SPD pedals and shoes… It’s the worst of all worlds just mixed together.
