Where are you guys seeing that deferring to 2021 (option 2) is not guaranteed? Option 1 is the only option that uses the word “Guaranteed” but option 2 also sounds like it would be guaranteed for 2021 if that’s what you select. It doesn’t say it will be limited to those coming first. Am I missing something? From the FAQ page:
Option 1: Donate your entry fee to your choice of the Life Time Foundation, Leadville Trail 100 Legacy Foundation or NICA (national or state league of your choice). As a thank you, we will provide you with guaranteed, non-complimentary entry into your choice of the 2021, 2022 or 2023 LT100 MTB. We will be in touch to get your selection.
Option 2: Complimentary deferral option valid for 1-time use in your selection of the 2021, 2022 or 2023 LT100 MTB
