I'm not worrying about FTP/kg

The other thing i never thought of until i experienced it, is w/kg at other durations. For example, 1 & 5 min power. A year ago with FTP/kg well over 5, was still getting dropped in some races. Now with a ftp/kg a bit lower, but weight and power quite a bit higher higher (specifically at 1-5mins), my results are much better. How many races really have you sitting at threshold for any extended period of time? Not many in my experience.
