Race coverage is up. Pucker moment (and good save) for Hanna at 15:40

Yeah, that was a SEVERE pucker moment….she did a nice job keeping it upright. :scream:

Pretty cool video I stumbled across, definitely a different style than the usual videos but I really like it…

Finished the 100 on my 42mm cannonballs, that was ok. Dropped the pressure to 32-33ish is my guess, which helped a lot. Very tempted to get some 47mm tires for rides like this, keep the 42s as my usual and use 45/47s for chunkier stuff.

Gearing wise, my 42t oval with 11-40 was just fine, no real issues with any of the hills except the first climb per garmin. That was due to traffic though, tried to go around people at like 6 mph and spun out on some loose stuff, ran the bike til it flattened and got back on. I was always passing people uphill and not going 100% so that was nice for the ego.

7:30 time, which was ok. Turns out I was sick though, so that explains it.

Also holy crap the downhills. I was very timid at first, halfway though id only brake if i saw a sketchy corner coming up, but definitely lost time to people who didnt. Still gotta get used to that. AND gotta get used to when the bike swims around on loose stuff, I see pros just kicking the bike around, but not sure how to really do that to correct it.

Didnt have the dusty face you guys had, doused my face with water a bunch because the dust was burning my eyes.
