Hi Rob. I am in the same boat. Diagnosed in December. Booked in for radical prostatectomy on 28th February. Had MRI, biopsy and bone scan and all thankfully confirm cancer is confined to the prostate. I just want it taken out now. Worried about post op recovery but hey we are all pretty fit on here so can recover quicker.
I had qualified for the European championship standard distance triathlon this year, but that is off the cards now.
My aim now is to train as hard as I can up to the 28th February so my recovery starts from a higher base level fitness.
