Did you ever end up trying a smaller tire?

I have the same bike, and have been debating going smaller because I hate riding the bigger tires on pavement.

I ended up using Tufo Thundero 700x48 pretty much all last year and they were great. They felt less draggy on pavement than the Race Kings for me and worked really well on gravel.

Any smaller and the tires might look funny on the Cutthroat. I thought it looked good with the Thunderos though :grinning:

Gravel rides near me often ended up with alot of pavement so I was really happy with these.
