My last road bike had 11 speed Ultegra Di2 with 50/34 chainrings and an Ultegra RX derailleur. It handled the 11-40 like a champ.

Now we just need an aftermarket derailleur to run sram 10-52 with a Sram 56-43 crankset. Every gear for every hill up or down ever!

Thanks! I currently have it with my existing chain. I was hoping to be able to swap from 11-40 to my other wheels with 10-34. I’ll look at it closer. Thanks for the quick feedback.
If your chain is properly sized for the 11-34, you could get away with the same chain on the 11-40 if you use full synchro mode since it’ll lock out the big/big combo 
It worked for me when I ran that set up. Not saying it’s optimal but it’ll work.
