XCadey - Spider based PM

Have anyone encountered having high calibration? Mine shoes -1782 and this causes the power reading to fail. I also cant find a way to reset it. Mines going 2 years now so warranty is not an option.

Iā€™ve had a bead experience recently with an XCadey Xpower-S Gen2 power meter for my mountain bike on a shimano XT M8100 crank. I had previously had an xpower crankset with gen 1 power meter on a tri bike that read dead on when I tested against some garmin vector 3 pedals so I was hoping to get more of the same.

Unfortunately thatā€™s not what I got. Immediately it was reading ~5% higher than my vector 3 pedals and my Kickr V5 trainer. After a couple rides of verifying this I tired scaling it in the app to 95%. This got it reading pretty close most of the time but it seems to be inconsistent. Usually it reads within expected accuracy at lower power and even up to maybe ~200w but once tested at >300w it will easily read >3% too high. It also doesnā€™t seem to be really consistent from one test to the next.

Iā€™m going to see if I can return it somehow. Unfortunately it seems like xcadey can be crossed off the trust worthy power meter list. I really donā€™t think itā€™s acceptable even to have to ā€œscaleā€ a power meter yourself. It should read accurate out of the box within spec and it definitely needs to be consistent. Maybe Iā€™ll try Sigeyi?

Did you ever end up finding a way to fix this? I am having the same issue.
