Winter training 22/23

Hi All,

Just finished my last race for the season. (70.3) Looking at needing a lot of bike fitness for next year. Looking ahead to the winter. How are you guys and girls heading your training for a big boost/ any recommendations.

iā€™m going to repeat last winter + gym work. lots of 2 to 3 hour high z2/ low tempo keeping an eye on heart rate and trying to keep it below 80%. this really ground strong endurance into my legs. i probably added 15- 20 watts over 5 months. kept the chain tight with little coasting.
