I nailed a threshold workout today (Moose’s Tooth - 3). I had poor sleep last night, and had to put in max effort to not take a break. It was HARD, and I felt very accomplished pushing through it and not back pedaling or resting for a few seconds.
After this beast of a workout (for me anyways), my Threshold Progression Level dropped by 0.2. That was a bit deflating. Why would it do this?
Hey there,
It looks like your Threshold PL went down because Moose’s Tooth -3 is a Threshold 2.6, while your current Threshold PL is 3.3 (it was 3.6). For your PLs to increase, you’d have to complete a workout above your current PL value (in other words, a Threshold workout higher than 3.3).

you just crushed the boy Zackery. it already sounded like he was hanging on by his fingertips as it was… the harsh reality of training lives on. Thanks for the links. the levels and graphs seem to be a confusing topic as of late.
