What workout did you do today? (2026)

I wish there was a “Boredom” failed workout option as I would have bailed and taken that had it existed. As it was I trudged on to the end

Pulled the plug on Starlight (TH 4.2) today. Recovering from a cold that has impacted my threshold capability. The brain said go, the body said no

Felt good going into this and achieved it pretty comfortably. T’was somewhere btwn Moderate and Hard so I rounded up. Warm fuzzy feelings all round.

ETA: tip of the hat to Zwift for finally incorporating interval average power into the HUD. That makes doing workouts in Resistance mode a breeze. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Had Fang Mountain +2 today. Felt good over all on the ride.
Started crossing into low hard territory at the very peak of the over interval but then the power came back down into moderate, this made the workout feel as if I was riding the bike on some rolling but flat roads.
I had Zwift running on another device and wanted to complete the stage so rode a bit in tempo just to get over a climb. That’s part felt good. I don’t know why the trainer got wacky with the cadence at the end.
A 5 on the Zwift RPE scale.

Garraun (VO2 5.6) today. I had two connection failures, one during an interval, that lowered my score by 0.3  Felt good otherwise, and rated the session hard.

Small increase in NP for the same avg HR compared to the last Garraun session.

TR changed my workout to Blairdenon today and it looks like it’s finally got the workout level right after my AIFTP drop.
This one felt proper hard now if only TR would hold me here for a bit.
This is the last hard week in my Build 3 phase to let see how it plays out.

Hi! Today I did Tallac +2 which is 4x15 SS with ample recovery. I came in not quite recovered from weekend riding so this felt like a ‘Hard’, but never desperate.

With a temperature high of 30C/86F I waited until later in the evening to start. This decision worked out pretty well. Each interval felt easier than the previous due to the sun going down and the cooling temperature.

Sunday was my first ride outside in 4 months. Did 90 minutes on Saturday and my hand felt good. So went out for 4 hours. 54 miles with 40+ miles of gravel and 5k of climbing. Nervous about breaking my hand again so took all of the decents easy. So happy to be riding outside. Saw a bear cub, a couple turkeys, and lots of waterfalls.

This was the hump workout of the week.
Had Rosa on the calendar with the option of a longer workout Eclipse +1.
Wanted to give it a go so I left work 1/2 early to have time for the workout.
This one wasn’t bad just longer than I’m used to during a weekday.
A 5 on the Zwift RPE scale.
Now Saturday’s over/unders to go.

Had Dana today and TR finally caught up after my AIFTP drop, this workout was proper hard.
Felt a cramp coming on my right hamstring and thought how it would suck to fail the workout because of it but everything went fine on this one.
Now have to get pass three endurance rides to lock in the new AIFTP.
On a side note I’ve never had my Athlete Levels so high, this was due to too low AIFTP.

Failed Cloudripper (TH 4.4) today :face_with_crossed_out_eyes: Rated it maximum effort due to fatigue. It was the final session of this block, and I think I’m more tired than I thought. This is also the first session since AI FTP adjusted from 309 to 311.

Felt good at the start, but suffered through the first set of over-unders, and hit the wall during set two. Took a hit on AI FTP which hurts a bit  Oh well, onwards and upwards :+1:

Had James today, last workout before an AIFTP detection day.

First time doing this workout and I hope no one else did the move that I did.

About ten minutes into the ride I thought I had some type of bug where the workout time wasn’t counting down.

Canceled the workout and reloaded it again only to see the time stuck at 1:24 again, only to realize that that 1 hour and 24 minutes not 1 minute 24 seconds :man_facepalming:t2:.

Lost ten minutes of riding because I thought I had some Zwift issue.

Did a little extra to complete the route.

It’s technically not a race, so I think it’s OK to post here.

Vätternrundan is an institution in Sweden. It’s been going over 60 years and this year I believe had over 19,000 participants.

Whilst it’s not raced, it is timed, and the sub-9hr groups ride from 11:30 on the second day, with motorcycle escort.

We had 40 of us in our team, with sub 7:30 the goal. It all went to plan, and it was nice and cool (17-19c) with just one short period of rain. The group held together in Belgian rotation until about the half way point, at which point an increasing number of riders dropped back into the cafe. By the last 40-50km, there were only 6-8 of us on the front, still pulling. I was fairly close to my limit there, but managed to hold on.

We finished with a comfortable margin and without incident. GCN also rode VR yesterday, though the three SuperNerds set off much earlier in the day and just rode as a trio (which is of course much tougher). Look out for that video.

The photo is from the finish line.
