What is a reasonable TSS per week over a 6-12 week period if you want to compete at Cat 1, 2, 3, 4, or Masters 1, 2, 3? IN Australia of course that would be A , B, C, Grade and Masters A, B , C.
Or look at it over the course of a year? Long term goals, if you wanted to race Masters 1, Cat 2 say. In Aus, having raced Masters A and B Grade (Cat 2) there isn’t a lot of difference between either grade. Just as fast, as strong, same length of race as well.
I know I push 500-600 TSS a week, 6-8 hours a week over the past 4 months, I’ve found TR beneficial to get the most out of my training I can gain more in less time.
