Tunemah vs Matambale, I do not see the difference between these two and adaptive training is having a field day.
Every few hours I’ve been getting the message to adapt to one to only get the message to adapt to the other.
This is my Saturday workout so I have three more days of this.
There are a lot of workouts that I’ve seen that are the same with different names. I assumed some were tied to specific workout plans. I just find one and ride it. I am a good lab rat.
They do, indeed, appear to be identical.
@eddiegrinwald would it be possible to eliminate one of these workouts? Or is there a reason to have two identical workouts?
Yeah at this point I’m just going to do the one that name I like better, that Matambale is calling me.
@ivegotabike is right that we have some duplicates for specific reasons.
I’m going to dig into this one a bit, though, because I’m not sure it’s normal for them to be used in the same scenario like this.
The workout looks the same, I think this is why it’s confusing AT and it keep changing my recommend workout every few hours.
To help my puny brain, would you be able to share some insight as to the benefit/s of duplicate workouts? I, for example, would not have two identical screwdrivers, but say that one is only to be used in the garage or kitchen, while the other is only to be used in the bedroom or basement.
There are certain classifications for unique plans where we wanted to have workouts that were exclusive to their discipline. At the end of the day, this caused a few workouts to be essential duplicates of existing workouts, but they all served a unique purpose.
It turns out that this may have simply been an oversight on our end. I can’t seem to find any reason for both of these to exist.
I’ve hidden one for now, so you shouldn’t see any more ping-ponging adaptations.
If you have any other weird issues with this workout between now and Saturday, please reach out!
Thanks for bringing this up!
