What PR did you hit today?

Picked up 20w on the 2 hour today, previous best was 268w. 4.17w/kg for the duration.

Whatever you are doing appears to be working. Good to see people make nice gains after the newb gains. The easy part is over but there are more gains to be had if you are willing to put in the work. Good stuff :+1:t4:

Ramp test yesterday, FTP coming in at 295 after properly starting structured training in June with a 255 ramp test.

A nice 17w bump after 8 weeks of HV half distance base. I was pretty fatigued heading into that prior ramp test so probably undertested, but Ill take it!

I did a zwift race yesterday and came 2nd in the Bs only to be outdone in a sprint. I cut myself a new all time power curve from 22mins to 47mins. My 47min effort was at 0.99 IF!..

NP 337 watts.

Thanks, with that being my first 5min test ever I think I blew the pacing a bit but it’s a good sign for the future regardless.

Long FTP/TTE test yesterday, set all-time PRs for 35, 35:30 and 36min… so there’s that.

1h power - from 305 to 311W. 311W was my 40 min power not so long ago. Definitely have couple of watts left in the tank but quite happy as my goal for 2021 was 320W for 30 min to try my first race ever - uphill TT.

Finished baseline testing. Generally very happy, except with the long test, which I felt like I underperformed. Just means my sweetspot work will be pretty easy for a while :laughing:

I’m a few kg off race weight, but I’ll start working on it after the holidays. It’s been a long year and I’m going to enjoy some pie.

We all have our own journeys. When looking at folks I’m striving to get to the level of, I often feel underwhelmed with my own performance.

The process of improvement is more gratifying than the hard numbers themselves.

Everything from 58:00 to like 1:15 in an hour power test. Pacing wasnt perfect, but pretty happy with that considering how I felt going in and the fact that I’m in the middle of a training block.

New Power PR’s all the way from 1:14:30 to 3:10:00, basically holding 150W (71% of FTP) the whole time. Added 21W (16%) to my three-hour power record. :muscle:t2:

PR by 37 secs on the local ~15min climb after SSBMV1. Power 267w vs 248w 6 weeks ago — almost 8% jump. Let’s hope the ramp test shows the same thing tomorrow.

After repeated attempts for the last 8 months I finally broke 1,000 watts, if only for 4 seconds. Managed to set power PRs for 1-14 seconds which helped me get over failing my scheduled workout today (Warlow).
