What are your favorite outdoor RPE-based workouts?

My fancy bike is in the shop for a tune-up, and I am taking a couple unstructured weeks since I recently finished my first century (woohoo!).

What are your favorite workouts to do outside without a power meter? What do you think works well about them?

I can’t offer any direct workout suggestions, however if you’re riding unstructured then why not just ride for fun? It sounds like a good opportunity for such

I’m going to try an RPE on the commute to try and free up that time. Well it isnt actually wasted after 6mins of a warm up, its a tempo to threshold session for 26minutes until the other end when its 6-7minutes through traffic but AI will take no account until PL2’s are launched. So I’m trying a 30minutes RPE alternate for my workout and hopefully that will fit in there. Bear Creek-5 and we will see if that becomes a favourite.
