I was told that for all Virtual Trainers, I need to add 10% to my weight for accurate measurements. Is this true for TR as well?
No, use your real weight. Trainer accuracy is independent of weight, and TR uses your FTP to set the zones and ignores your weight anyway. For accurate W/kg calculations you want your real weight too.
I’ve never heard of this, for any trainer. What is the context? What measurement are you talking about?
I was using Rouvy before. And that is the advice I received. I didn’t question further since the guy probably rides more in a day than I ride in a year
Ha. He just wanted to slow you down in a race
Yeah, without a clear explanation, I’m calling BS on that one too.
That was my first thought!
hehe…ok thanks guys
