Does anyone here consistently have exact matches between actual and planned TSS? My endurance workouts are usually 1 point lower, or matching, while threshold, VO2, anaerobic rides are almost always 2-3 points lower. I’m assuming these differences are negligible and that the TSS gap in interval workouts is due to power fluctuations in ERG mode.
My workouts are always exact unless I’ve been playing around with the +/- buttons. I think that it has a lot to do with the smart trainer/PM setup. I’m on a Tacx Neo 2T power matched with Garmin Rally pedals. It would also always come out exact when I was using the Neo only. What setup are you using?
Interesting. I’m using a Kickr Bike shift. Doing workouts on Zwift.
At that difference, it really doesn’t matter.
