My trusty Specialized Allez Sprint with SRAM Force 1X. Swapped in some Superteam wheels with Conti 5000. And, finding an acceptable color handlebar tape was not an easy task!

Second time posting my bike.. I changed the 25mm front/28mm front conti gp5000 for 32mm (and still conti gp5000). What a difference in grip and comfort. And it’s still fast. Aeroad CF SLX 7 Shimano Di2 (2XL, I’m 1m97).

Gonna change to tpu as well, but right now I have only cheap aliexpress ones, valve isn’t good quality and leaks, so ordered proper ones now.

Also second time uploading. New wheels, new cranks and new tyres.

The two current speed machines. The Trek is a mash up of a warranty Gen6 frame that bumped me up to a Gen8.
The Lauf is something I’ve slowly been adding bits to over the last year. It’s closer to the road bike in terms of speed than most would guess

That graffiti wall might be the most perfect background for that bike.
Great photo and cool bike!

Got my Assioma Pro RS-2 and Cybrei cranks. Bike is at 7.67kg with pedals cages and mounts, not bad for having 1400g wheels and 300g per piece tires. I haven’t taken all of the accessories off but it would be bang on at 7.3kg with no pedals cages or mounts

Scott Addict RC 10. Only little upgrades added like Selle Italia Superflow Kit Carbonio saddle (longest name ever), K-Edge Syncros mount, Pirelli P-Zero TLR RS 30mm, and Dura-Ace 11-34 cassette. Comes in at 15.3lbs in size large (no pedals).

Is that a “certified fast bike”

New Bike Day! Picked up a TT bike to compete in the local TT series. Only one race left this year, but will have the entire winter to get the fit dialed in.

Indeed it is. I had to black out the logos on the crank, looks much better now. Wonder why Chris was not a fan of my direct mount RD hanger lol

Makes it sound like you made this decision on a whim. I don’t ride TTs but that is a sweet looking bike!

Anyone own a Lauf Uthald? Would love to see real life pics, especially in Borealis. (I’m not in the market for a new bike, but the whole N+1 thing …)

While the final decision about which bike to get was pretty sudden, Ive been looking for a while, and almost went down the path of building up a last generation Giant Trinity rim brake bike for the purpose. When I saw the Ventum, in the new colorway, I couldn’t resist. It will go well with my new team kit

Recently picked up this super low mile 2016 CAAD8 with r5800 105 2x11 for a screaming $200

My understanding is it’s a low level frame compared to the well renowned CAAD10, with absolutely garbage wheels and tires. A buddy is giving me some much lighter and wider Oval Concepts 527 wheels off a Fuji with 5000 tires, and another is giving me SL pedals. So far I’ve done a few things too, keeping it as cheap as I can. Installed my old Ultegra crank with compact chainrings, black bar tape, and put gloss black vinyl over all of the ridiculous graphics on the frame. It’s a porker and rides horrendously but I’m sure the tires will help a ton. I picked this up to use on the trainer, to tow a Burley trailer with my kiddo, and to have a bike I could ride easy and leave my Madone for the faster days. It’s really hard to ride that bike slowly

Compared to my Madone the bike basically disappears
