# TrainerRoad setups (phone, laptop, iPad, 1, other, both, ....)

Hello,  
This is a basic question, however, I am curious what people are doing so if I make a change I make the best one. That is I am currently only using my phone with TR. So my phone has to run TR, play any music, podcast or video I may try to watch. I don’t have an ipad, laptop, or anything else to run TR at the moment, however, I am considering investing in a second device so I can dedicate 1 to TR and the other to my distraction/media (music, video, netflix, …).  
Is there a “best” setup that people use?
