So I was thinking about using this topic as a journal that would display accountability on my end, and see what kind of gains from TR I get via the programs.
I am currently on week 4 of an 8 week polarized plan and my training is geared towards Midwest gravel events (Rough Road 100, Barry-Roubaix, Unbound 200 or Michigan C2C)
I am 51 and not is great shape compared to a lot here. I went from Covid the day before a race, to having my kids pass along influenza, stomach flu and RSV all after that. So my last 10 weeks has been unfun.
Current weight is up to 105kg and FTP is down to 230. I am using plan builder sprinkled in with long rides because I noticed last year, I face planted hard with longer efforts.
If you think this is an inappropriate platform, just let me know and I’ll delete it. If it’s OK, I thought I could do a weekly update or something like that.
