Switch up Ironman to XC MTB race

Hi all, just completed 70.3 Ironman Cairns and now looking to switch plans for a 53km XC MTB race in 6 weeks (Paluma Push).

I have a good base and now looking to up the VO2 training.

Any suggestions for a 6 week plan to help with the shift back into XC racing on a course with plenty of punchy climbs.

Just do XC marathon or XC olympic specialty. Maybe olympic considering you probably have a pretty good sustainability by now.
