I’m opting for some very low gearing for upcoming hill rides and wasn’t able to find much on options for my Cervelo S5. I ended up going cheap, buying a no-name set of 46/30T rings (5-hole 110 BCD) off e-bay for about $85. Put them on my rotor crank (3D+) with P2M power meter and they seem to work just fine. Clearance between the small ring and the spider is tight, but there’s no inference and shifting is crisp and clean. I did have to lower the FD all the way down and adjust the FD limits. Nothing else required.
Just thought I throw this into the forum for anyone else who’s wondering if they can go lower than 50/34 in front.
