Spencer +2 workout instructions

Does anyone else find it funny that the in-ride instructions of Spencer +2 “invite” you to nudge up the intensity of the next interval? Just in case you weren’t already turned inside out at minute 2 of the 3 min. interval.

Tough workout…and great race simulation. Talk about building mental toughness. Just hang in for 3 minutes, and chances are the pace will drop down to something a bit more manageable!


Did that workout today. To complete it I have to do at 98, 99, 100, 98, 99, 100%. The wattage differences are minor but if I did all the intervals at 100% I’d fail the last one. The prompts are bizarre to me but I guess there is someone out there who can do 122% repeatedly for 6 intervals.
